Case study 1
Mother M noticed her son had an injury when he returned home from school. She wanted to communicate with the school about this but didn’t know how to go about doing so, so she turned to the hotline for help. We were able to refer her to a caseworker for assistance. Later she said “I can pay much more attention to my son at school, many thanks for your help.”
Case study 2
Overseas student H suffered threatening words from an acquaintance, and as a result was worried for his personal safety. Student H decided to ask his college to contact the authorities for assistance. The police officer had difficulty communicating with the student, and they phoned us for assistance. We were able to make the student feel calm and safe. The police officer thanked us for our help in reducing his stress levels and restoring his sense of security.
